Approach & Thought Process:
Meta has recently shifted it’s focus over to the growth of Threads, which had caused noticable changes within the Instagram algorithm.
We caught a key opportunity to further refine our design system within instagram, and our efforts paid off. The approach was simple: Cut the clutter. Introduce simple treatments with high contrast that can be replicated by non-designers. What do instagram users prioritize when consuming content? Brevity.
Following our efforts we noticed a massive spike in engagement, followers and non-follower growth.
