Since 2018, I've enhanced the competitiveness of CNET & ZDNET in the media landscape by implementing cross-functional design solutions. These strategies garnered real-world engagement from both audiences and business partners. My extensive market research included analyzing publications and streaming services such as TheVerge and Netflix, studying their approaches to viewer engagement—from thumbnail graphics to animated elements proven to drive traffic.

CNET SOCIAL REFRESH


I boosted social engagement from 1.2m to a solid 9m in October, using an efficient design system accessible to non-designers. The Canva/Photoshop system I created saved the team 20 work hours per week, allowing them to produce social content promptly without relying on designers for quick turnaround.

AMAZON PRIME DAY, JUL 11-12 2023

I created Prime Day graphics a month in advance, contributing to a team success of $13M across both editorial properties during the early Prime Day Event. Taking a unique approach due to team constraints, I collaborated with sales and editorial stakeholders for guidance. Our early launch caught the attention of publications like Business Insider, inspiring them to adopt similar graphics still in use today.

CNET: 84 DAYS INTERNAL B2B CAMPAIGN

I used the Ceros Site design platform to create and brand our internal B2B campaign, '84 Days.' In the last three months of the year, we generated over $300k in revenue from more than 30 sponsored product listings.

CNET: PROJECT NEON, AN EDITORIAL DESIGN REFRESH

The CNET editorial team experienced a boost of 10k unique page visits per article when custom design was involved. I introduced a visual system enabling them to create custom treatments using our visual elements. This effort resulted in an extra 100k unique page visits per month for CNET, and the design team saved an average of 10 hours per week for higher-priority projects.
